Competition Format
DDSL is excited to announce that we will be running TWO separate competitions during 2025 series. What does this mean for you? Read below.
There will be a TANDEM competition and a LONELY DRIVER competition. Tandem wins and points will count towards the overall grand prize for the 2025 DDSL Season. While qualifying points will count towards the LD overall score. This allows drivers without cages or those who choose not to tandem, to have a way to earn points and win prizes! You can now become the king of qualifying.
Each event will have traditional qualifying and top 16 tandem battles (potentially Top 32). You will earn points during qualifying which will place you into a tandem bracket.
Tandem Championship
This championship will take place over all 3 rounds in 2025. Drivers will work through qualifying to secure a bracket for tandem battles. After fighting through the tandem bracket they will earn points towards the Grand Prize and the end of the season!
Lonely Driver Championship
Here is your chance to WIN qualifying! For the 2025 season, we are introducing a mini-series that allows you to gain points and standings by doing well in qualifying. These points count towards a separate LD Championship. If you are not ready for tandem, this is a great way to still compete and get a chance to be recognized for it!
Media Championship
Last, but definitely not least. DDSL is excited to announce a MEDIA championship. Not only are we doing the championships listed above but, we are holding a media contest as well. This will be a way to reward the hard working media at our events and give them a fun way to earn some cash, prizes, and addition swag. Details to come!
